The London based Zoombu was recently bought by the Edinburgh based travel company Skyscanner. Zoombu was founded in 2008 and specialized itself in linking up trains, buses and airline time tables. So the startup fits perfectly to the airline ticket-seller Skyscanner that is probably going to expand into other transport options in the future. After the acquisition both Zoombu founders, Alistair Hann and Rachel Armitage, are going to work at Skyscaner head office in Edinburgh.
