The leading Dutch social network Hyves was just sold to TMG (Telegraaf Media Groep). The sum of this deal is undisclosed right now. Hyves has a 68% penetration in the Netherlands but began to feel the unstopable fame of Facebook. The dutch social network, with over 10.6 million members, was founded in 2004 by Koen Kam, Floris Rost van Tonningen and Raymond Spanjar. The Hyves-Team is based in Amsterdam.
